Star Micronics GB is the wholly owned UK and Eire subsidiary of Star Micronics Co Ltd, which produces sliding-headstock lathes at its ultra modern Kikugawa plant in Japan. The headquarters is in Shizuoka.
The GB subsidiary, in addition to marketing its parent company's multi-axis, sliding-headstock mill-turn centres, is sole UK agent for FMB automatic bar feeders and JBS compensating guide bush systems from Germany.
We have a state-of-the-art technology centre in Melbourne, Derbyshire, and a team of the best applications engineers in the business. We can offer you accuracy, repeatibility, reliability and lower component cycle times using Star sliding-headstock lathes coupled with a vast array of associated technologies from third-parties. There's the right level of training and support too, with finance options for easy purchase, extended service warranty and a parts centre with a multi million £ inventory.
